Mechanism of Action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Soothing & redness-relieving pathway: Inhibit COX\u20112 cyclooxygenase activity, reduce prostaglandin PGE2 production, block inflammatory cascade reaction, relieve skin inflammation and mitigate UV-induced photosensitive erythema.
2. DNA protection & anti-aging pathway: Upregulate GADD45\u0251 expression to assist in repairing damaged DNA and counter cellular stress; upregulate TP63 expression to promote proliferation and migration of skin stem cells, maintain epidermal integrity and slow down skin cell senescence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experimental Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. COX\u20112 gene expression inhibition test (NHDF human fibroblasts): 0.1 mg\/mL yields 45% inhibition; maximum inhibition of 61% is achieved at 1 mg\/mL. The effect increases with dosage.
2. PGE2 secretion inhibition test (human keratinocytes, PMA pro-inflammatory stimulation): At sample concentration of 2 mg\/mL, the maximum inhibition rate of PGE2 secretion reaches 82%.
3. Human phototoxic erythema in-vivo test (0.4% Hongfuxiu DS lotion): It achieves 24% inhibition against UV-induced photoresponsive erythema.
4. TP63 gene expression promotion test (NHDF cells): 0.1 mg\/mL gives 115% upregulation; 1 mg\/mL gives 171% upregulation in a dose-dependent manner.
