Mechanism of Action

1. Odor chemical neutralization pathway: Zinc ions bind with malodorous molecules such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, converting them into low-odor or odorless substances to suppress odor diffusion, rather than masking odor with fragrance.
2. Selective microbiome balancing pathway: Alter cell membrane permeability of harmful microbes and inactivate bacterial DNA synthase; inhibit bacterial sulfatase to reduce generation of odor precursors; selectively regulate odor-producing microbes including *Cutibacterium acnes*, *Malassezia* and *Staphylococcus aureus* to maintain balanced skin microbiota.
3. Sebum regulation pathway: Inhibit 5α-reductase activity, reduce triglyceride synthesis in sebum and improve excessive sebum secretion.
4. Soothing & repairing pathway: Downregulate expression of inflammatory factors TLR‑2, TNF‑α and IL‑8; promote proliferation and migration of keratinocytes to relieve skin inflammatory stress damage.

Experimental Data

1. 5α-reductase inhibition test: At 2% loading, 5α-reductase inhibition rate reaches 75.75%.
2. Lipid inhibition test: 2% sample achieves 32.1% inhibition on lipid production.
3. In-vitro bacteriostatic test: At 2% loading, inhibition rate against *Malassezia* is 70%, *Cutibacterium acnes* 65%; *Staphylococcus aureus* 79.2%, *Staphylococcus epidermidis* 76.7%.
4. Odor molecule neutralization test: 1% 4D Zinc Salt antiperspirant completely removes hydrogen sulfide within 12 min and efficiently reduces ammonia concentration.
5. Human anti-acne in-vivo test: Formulation with 2% active loading shows 63.77% reduction in acne lesion volume at day 7; 75.37% reduction at day 14, with notable improvement in GAGS acne grading score.
6. Human scalp anti-dandruff test: At 2% loading, scalp dandruff is reduced by nearly 73% after 3 days; scalp flake improvement rate reaches 74.2% after 8 days.
