Color Control Factor

Small nucleic acid gene-regulating whitening raw material; nanopeptide delivery system enables transdermal penetration and cell membrane penetration to target melanocytes

Documentation

Product overview

Small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting tyrosinase, the key rate-limiting enzyme in melanin biosynthesis. After entering melanocytes, its double-stranded structure dissociates. The antisense strand recruits the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) and guides the RISC/siRNA antisense-strand complex to specifically bind to the target sequence region of tyrosinase mRNA via base complementary pairing. Subsequently, under the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, tyrosinase mRNA is selectively degraded, blocking melanin biosynthesis at its source

Mechanism of Action

1. After siRNA enters melanocytes, its double strands dissociate, and the antisense strand recruits RISC silencing complex.
2. It specifically binds to target sequences of tyrosinase mRNA via base complementary pairing and mediates mRNA degradation.
3. It downregulates tyrosinase gene expression, reduces the activity of tyrosinase protein and decreases pigment biosynthesis.
4. With peptide nanoparticle carrier structure, it penetrates the epidermal stratum corneum and cell membrane to deliver siRNA into cells for efficacy.

Experimental Data

1. Tyrosinase mRNA interference efficiency: 82.81% at 24 h post-transfection; 76.19% at 48 h; 75.46% at 72 h.
2. Tyrosinase protein expression inhibition test: 1.2% pigment-regulating factor reduces tyrosinase protein expression by 83.3%.
3. Cellular melanin inhibition test: TYR‑siRNA suppresses L-tyrosine-induced intracellular melanin accumulation, with melanin inhibition rate of 81.8%.

Product specifications

INCI Name: BUTYLENE GLYCOL, RNA, NONAPEPTIDE-1
Source: siRNA sequences are screened by AI biochip technology. Combined with gene peptide nanoparticle delivery system, a small nucleic acid active raw material is constructed.

Key benefits

1. Whitening intervention at genetic level; targets and degrades tyrosinase mRNA to block melanin synthesis at the source.
2. Nanopeptide delivery system enables transdermal and cell membrane penetration, delivering siRNA into cells to exert its effect.
3. Dual effects of spot fading and prevention; intervenes pigment spots at the source and reduces rebound risk.
4. Excellent in vitro experimental data; achieves high inhibition efficiency against tyrosinase mRNA, tyrosinase activity and intracellular melanin.
