10% Reverse Micelle VC
10% Reverse Micelle VC
10% L‑Ascorbic Acid (reduced form), nano-reverse micelle encapsulation system; enhances VC stability and transdermal absorption rate, reduces irritation of VC
Product overview
Derived from South American acerola cherry. Every 100 g contains an ultra-high 4000 mg vitamin C, widely recognized worldwide as the "King of Natural VC". It also contains multiple nutrients including vitamin A, B1, B2, E and P. Nanoscale reverse micelle technology greatly improves its stability, reduces fission-type deactivation and markedly enhances transdermal absorption efficiency of the ingredient. Replace oxidation concerns with radiant confidence; deliver nature-powered whitening, antioxidant and skin-renewing potency intact to your skin

Literature & Patents
Developed by Professor Hu Chunqiu’s team. It is a highly stable vitamin C composition for skin brightening and anti-aging cosmetic applications.
Patent No.: ZL202511586276.7
Mechanism of Action
1. Skin-brightening pathway: Inhibit tyrosinase activity, reduce pigment formation and lower intracellular pigment content.
2. Anti-aging & collagen-promoting pathway: As a cofactor for key enzymes in collagen synthesis, it upregulates mRNA expression of type Ⅰ and type Ⅳ collagen. Meanwhile, it inhibits elastase to slow down collagen degradation.
3. Antioxidant pathway: Directly bind reactive oxygen free radicals to form dehydroascorbic acid, and rely on the GSH system for cyclic reduction to continuously scavenge free radicals.
4. Soothing & repairing pathway: Regulate multiple immune-related components and inflammatory proteins, downregulate the levels of inflammatory factors including PCT, TNF‑α, IL‑6 and IL‑8, and promote epidermal repair.
5. Delivery mechanism: Reverse micelle nano-aggregates act as carriers. Encapsulated native VC penetrates the skin barrier and is released to exert effects.
Experimental Data
1. Anti-aging – elastase inhibition test: 10% VC achieves 81.39% inhibition rate against elastase.
2. Anti-aging – fibroblast collagen expression test: After VC treatment, type Ⅰ collagen mRNA expression is up-regulated up to 2.4 times; type Ⅳ collagen mRNA expression is up-regulated up to 3.1 times.
3. Repair – nematode wound repair test: The VC group shows 85% higher wound repair efficiency compared with model group.
4. Brightening – B16 cellular melanin inhibition test: 10% VC reduces cellular melanin content by approximately 81.7%.
5. Brightening – tyrosinase activity inhibition test: 10% VC reduces tyrosinase activity by approximately 89.3%.
6. Antioxidant free radical scavenging test: At 0.005% VC, hydroxyl radical scavenging rate 93.2%; superoxide anion radical scavenging rate 94.2%; DPPH free radical scavenging rate 93.24%.
7. Anti-inflammatory factor inhibition test: VC downregulates multiple inflammatory markers including PCT, TNF‑α, IL‑6 and IL‑8.

| Source: | Nano reverse micelle encapsulation technology is adopted. It refers to the natural protective mechanism of vitamin C in prickly pear, where VC is synergistically protected by flavonoids and SOD. |
Key benefits
1. Improved stability: nano-reverse micelle encapsulation reduces oxidative degradation and deactivation of raw L‑ascorbic acid.
2. Enhanced transdermal absorption: the nano structure of reverse micelles improves transdermal absorption efficiency of VC.
3. Reduced irritation: the encapsulation system buffers skin irritation caused by raw L‑ascorbic acid.
4. Multi-effect synergy: multi-dimensional benefits including whitening, antioxidant activity, anti-aging & collagen synthesis promotion, anti-inflammation and repair.
