Anti-Inflammatory Extract
Anti-Inflammatory Extract
Botanical blend soothing & repairing raw material; acts on three dimensions: skin barrier, inflammatory response and neural response; delivers multiple benefits including barrier repair, anti-inflammation, TRPV1 channel inhibition, antioxidant activity and itch & redness reduction
Product overview
Soothing and repairing raw material developed based on network pharmacology and molecular dynamics. ① Promotes synthesis of collagen and elastic fibers to accelerate repair of damaged tissues. ② Inhibits inflammatory factors such as interleukins and IL-6 to suppress inflammation. It inhibits the activity of PTGS2 (COX-2), reduces prostaglandin synthesis and lowers vascular permeability. ③ Inhibits the activity of TRPV1 ion channel protein in the nervous system, blocks neuropeptide release and reduces vasodilation

Mechanism of Action
1. Barrier repair pathway: Promote the synthesis of collagen and elastic fibers, facilitate the repair of damaged epidermis and reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
2. Soothing pathway: Downregulate inflammatory factors such as IL‑6; inhibit the activity of PTGS2 (COX‑2) and NF‑κB, reduce prostaglandin production, lower vascular permeability and relieve skin redness.
3. Neuronal soothing pathway: Inhibit the activity of TRPV1 ion channel protein, reduce neuropeptide release and relieve stinging, itching and vasodilation responses mediated by nerves.
4. Antioxidant pathway: Scavenge hydroxyl radicals and superoxide anion radicals to alleviate skin damage caused by oxidative stress.
Experimental Data
1. NF‑κB transcriptional activity inhibition test: YNC inhibits NF‑κB activity by 56.8% at 5 μM, 75.0% at 10 μM and 79.9% at 50 μM.
2. Skin barrier repair TEWL test: Cream with 0.5% Yanning Extract reduces TEWL by 43% at 30 min; average TEWL reduction reaches 65% within 1–2 h to support barrier recovery.
3. Free radical scavenging test: Its scavenging capacity against hydroxyl radical and superoxide anion radical is better than mannitol control.
4. Inflammatory protein expression test: 2% YNC downregulates expression of NF‑κB and COX‑II, with approximately 60% improvement on facial redness.
